Smoke Sign is the main musical project of Oregon based Kris Mosher. Born in Guatemala in 1985, he was adopted at three weeks old & brought to America. From a very early age he was enamored with music & has a rich diverse musical background thanks to his mother. His journey with psytrance began when he started organizing underground dance events and DJing in 2005, but by 2009 he had fallen so deeply in love with the music that he started on the road of creation. For the next year Kris poured hours & hours into production, obsessively digging into Cubase until Smoke Sign was born. By 2011, he had gained the attention of the then budding International powerhouse known as Zenon Records, and in 2011 Smoke Sign had the honor and distinction of becoming the very first North American producer signed to the Australian label. Since then, Smoke Sign has performed on stages across the world, and has worked musically with many of Psytrance's most legendary names, such as: Raja Ram, Ace Ventura, Astrix, Mandragora, Tetrameth, DJ Chicago (1200 Mics), Captain Hook, Freedom Fighters, Ticon, Flowjob, Astral Projection, Vibe Tribe and more.

Smoke Sign has an eclectic yet specific sound, pulling from both the ancient & modern worlds to weave audible magic. His conjurations are a fusion of many genres and media sources, combining elements of psytrance, house, techno, downtempo, bass music, world music & captivating vocal samples into his signature story telling style.
